This game is truly awesome. Its like Nazi Zombies ramped up like crazy. Tripwire once again have a top notch game on their hands. Was playing for 3 hours last night with friends on ventrillo - couldn't recommend it anymore

I disagree without pressing disagree button, mainly cuz i played the mod a long long long time ago.

It's not as dynamic as L4D and trust me, you'll get bored with it in less than a week. But then again i got bored of L4D too... but after a month or so. Yep, i also think survival mode for L4D sucks. New campaigns would have been better.

Already clocked in around 5 hours with the release only being last night. Were all having a blast with it. Our perks still have a long way to go. And we still havnt managed to complete normal yet - died on the Patriarch. With the SDK out some point today theres going to be new maps super fast.

Sure I'm not going to be playing it totally solid for months but it's certainly a Game myself and all my buddies will be putting alot of time into for a long time to come. Sounds like you havn't played the retail game yet which makes it hard to judge - from what I've seen of the mod it seems like a real step up. Honestly I really do recommend it

Graphically it looks quite nice. And I believe this is the first time they're using a new engine rather than a previous one.

Gunplay always felt really good with the KF games. My only complaint with this game and similar ones like L4D is that they become too predictable after a bit, so it gets quite boring. If the game doesn't have AI learning then at least give the enemies more methods of attacking players.

VS mode didn't work in KF2 because the game and enemies weren't designed for it from the start, that's what happens when it's tacked on and also takes place in an arena, it just becomes a camping game. Game mode wise I would prefer regular survival mode and one or two others, like a coop campaign and something else, but if they add VS it's gotta be done right from the beginning.
