Ubisoft Delays Rainbow six: Vegas Downloadable Content

March 29, 2007- Ubisoft announced today that the Rainbow Six: Vegas "Player's Pack Red Edition" downloadable expansion pack will not be available to consumers by the end of March as previously expected. Putting many rumors to rest in the process, the announcement still came as a bit of a surprise to the Vegas community who were highly anticipating the debut of the five new maps and many new game modes.

Ubisoft made this statement: "The downloadable content for Rainbow Six: Vegas on XBOX 360 that was originally slated to release end of March has been delayed. We will communicate on its new release date as soon as we can, but rest assured that its content hasn't changed since its announcement"

at the moement it doesnt bother me. last week it roed playing the game and console was making funny noises, i expeced the worst however found my game had cracked from the inside out.

could have been worse tho, cudv been my xbox nackrd, jus think the spindle in the case did it maybe

so until i get a replacememnt this can wait

szeuner6250d ago

Whoa...Havince. My Vegas disc did the exact same thing. Small crack formed on the inner spindle. Cracked about a half inch. Hmmm?!?!?

DirtySyko6250d ago

That's bogus. It's understandable when a game's release date gets pushed back, but pushing back downloadable content? They didn't even really state reasons why it was being delayed.

Get with the program Ubisoft.

Maybe....just maybe...they haven't finished it yet....

Yeh my disc also have a small crack right in the middle and my console will try to read it yet i can't play it, its so annoying.
