Sony Online Entertainment has given PS3 a serious casual games boost with the news that it has penned a deal with leading publisher PopCap to bring five of its best selling console games to PlayStation network for PS3.
Bejeweled 2 should already be available on the European arm of the service. Four other titles are also lined up for release – Peggle, Zuma, Heavy Weapon and Feeding Frenzy.
“I love a good old puzzle game and Zuma is one that I used to play all the time and now you can, too, thanks to EA Play and Game Pass.” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.
GF365: "I recently bought an Xbox Series X, largely because of Xbox Game Pass. Even with the powerful new hardware, I somehow find myself playing the Xbox 360 classic Peggle."
It’ll blow your mind that peggle 2 is on game pass. I tried it, got bored pretty quickly but if you like it try it out!
After all, 'filthy' and 'casual' are both fun things to be.
Arcade racers on console and tower defence games on my phone. Love a rock hard TD game.
Glad to see PopCap coming our way, but SOE hasn't lived up to their name for a few years.
Sweet!
I'm so gonna download Feeding Frenzy 1 & 2 and Heavy Weapon when they come out on PSN.
I WANT MY GODDAMN PEGGLE NOW!!!!!
i thought we already have zuma
Will Peggle have mouse support? I remember playing the 360 version of Peggle, and it was just ridiculously hard to control with the analog stick--primarily due to the fact that the PC version has the mouse cursor to help you guide the ball exactly where you want it to go. This made the 360 version ridiculously hard/impossible compared to the PC version.
