I tried to like East India Company, but I just couldn't get into it, I found the ship battles a pain to play through and the grand strategy wasn't my cup of tea really. Sounds like they may have made some improvements though!

This game sounds amazingly similar to the naval battles of Empire: Total War.
I love ships, particularly paintings of them. I guess I could live with graphical ones too.... Hmmmm, sounds different and interesting to me.
