Falcom has published the first trailer for Ys 1&2 Chronicles.
The RPG will be released on july in Japan.
This month the feature looks back on the handheld ports of the first two games in the Ys series.
If you're interested in the Ys series, but don't know where to begin, consider this start guide an essential reading.
I played Y's I&II on Turbo Grafx long before there was even a PlayStation 1. It was the most open world action RPG at the time. When most JRPG's were turn bases, this guy was a real time arch mage, where you got more and more powerful as you went deeper into the game. When you returned to previous towns, some were completely destroyed or improved, and the previous difficult enemies were now weak pest.
I think that game is the father of modern day WRPG's.

WHY IS THIS GAME STILL NOT RELEASED IN EUROPE?
8CN: The YS PSP series is on sale today in the US PlayStation Network store. Ys Seven, Ys 1+2 Chronicles, and Ys The Oath in Felghana are all available for 50% off, or $7.49 each. There's no word on how long this promotional price will last.
I played Naphishtim on the PS2, having not played any of the previous games, and still enjoyed it a lot.
We need this game in NA/EU Falcom.
