IGN writes: "So many different programmers and hobbyists were impressed by this game over 20 years ago that it's inspired countless clones and freeware editions out there on the Internet. A simple Google search is enough to pull up more than one free-to-play Flash version that's functionally the same thing as what you'd otherwise be paying five bucks to get on the Wii. That's also not even taking into account the many old computer and home console ports that you might already own, collecting dust in a closet somewhere -- Tower Toppler was also known by the names Castelian and Nebulus, so if either of those ring a bell you might want to hold off too".
