Blend Games writes: "In the end, you already know whether or not you will like The Last Resort. If you're a fan of point-and-click adventures or the Wallace & Gromit series then this game is perfectly suited for you. And if you played and enjoyed the previous game then you're in luck: The Last Resort is smarter, funnier, and simply more enjoyable than its predecessor, which itself was a great game. It's a perfect example of what episodic gaming should be, providing a short and entertaining experience that doesn't overstay it's welcome".

BeefJack writes: "Telltale games, the dudes behind Sam & Max, Wallace and Grommit and the new Tales of Monkey Island games, want to give you a free game. You probably want a free game. See how this relationship works out so well?
Their games are actually episodic, so really, you'll be getting an episode. And, as they say, 'the first taste is free.'"
