Fallout 3: Broken Steel DLC Fixed

Microsoft has finally fixed the DRM installation problem experienced with the new Broken Steel DLC for Fallout 3 on the PC. The French version is now back online and has been confirmed as fully functional, so the English version should be back soon this evening.

Looks like Broken Steel is no longer "Broken" Steel then. I haven't touched my PC Fallout 3 for a long time, I play Fallout 3 on PS3 instead. Is the DLC free on PC?

No,it costs the same as on XBOX 360.

aw, what happened to the days when PC DLC was free... I don't even remember it being called DLC until the 360 and PS3 came out.

it used to be called expansion packs....Seriously every DLC they released had some bug or problem which makes me glad that i sold my copy of the game...Seriously that game has so many bugs its retarded.

Still bitter that PS3 owners got shafted. Even though I got the game on PC. Just the thought of what would happen if I got it for PS3. We deserve better guys.

I had Fallout 3 for the PS3 but every time I went to take the test at the beginning the game would stop. I would just sit in the desk and nothing would happen. My last resort I left in for 20min. and nothing happened. I was thinking about getting it for the 360 since there is so much DLC. Can anyone tell me if the game plus the DLC is really worth buying it again? Thanks for the help.

Yeah, I completely agree with you Avenged. Except, I'm one of those PS3 boys that bought the game. I was so hyped for the game, and too paranoid to read too many previews, that I had no idea that the DLC was exclusive until Op Anchorage came out. I think it's criminal that the game companies have to resort to exclusivity on products that are clearly MULTIPLATFORM. Why do I, a gamer, have to suffer for business tactics?

And for BX: If you had looked at a few forums you would have found a fix (not your fault at all, mind you, as a game should be operational as soon as it is released--- or at the very least, patched). All you have to do is save it when you're stuck at your desk and load the save and it should continue. Or, you could skip the whole goat test by talking to the professor before sitting down. I know the info is late, but I feel obligated to share the info.
