Real-life wolverine renamed 'Logan' in celebration of X-Men Origins: Wolverine

This is a bit nuts, but it seems to be for a good cause in the end. Activision has apparently sponsored the wolverine enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo for one year in exchange for the zoo changing their only male wolverine's name to Logan. Dead serious.

lol, I sometimes forget that a wolverine is a pretty dumb looking creature, nothing cool about it at all.

Dude, wolverines are awesome. The meanest fukers!

They are the only animal who will kill for no reason, neither food or defensive. It will just attack and kill. Deer, wolves, bears. And I think they are pound for pound one of the strongest animal, but don't quote me on that.

Edit: ok so I'm bored

"Wolverines are highly territorial and have the muscular strength to defend it. In fact, although weighing just about 13 kg, it is said that the wolverine has the ability of defending its food from wolf packs, cougars, and grizzly bears. They are thought to be the strongest animal amongst mammals, relative to their size. "

It's a mix between a badger and a bear, how can that not be awesome?

specialguest5481d ago

Yeah, those little bastards are known to have the most powerful bite among all mammals, even more powerful than lions and hiheenas.

It's a crying shame that the animal can't talk, I'm sure it has alot of things to say about this whole matter. lol

X-men named creatures.

Then again they could have just put some more effort into making a better Movie Tie-In.

But then we all know that isn't going to happen any time soon. Well except for maybe Riddick and a Spiderman game here and there.

The Meerkat5481d ago (Edited 5481d ago )

I was there 3 weeks ago. I looked for ages but couldn't see him.

But the Honey Badger in the next cage is one mean mother.

A fight between those two would be interesting.

I think a fight between a ground hog and a meerkat would be pretty interesting. http://estatenumberfour.fil...

I had a blast with a Bugs Bunny game on PS1 as a kid. It is probably trash now but at the time, it was awesome.

"50 Cent: Blood in the sand"

Ps3 scored 6/10 all round loads of review sites but was so much fun while not a technical masterpiece in any way has a worthwhile engaging story and script and of course an unbeatable soundtrack.
