GamesRadar: Jutland Review

Rather than adapt the standard RTS interface, they've gone their own weird way. The result is an awkward camera, a fussy system for issuing orders, and a bizarre panel-less screen layout that makes keeping tabs on your fleet far more difficult than it should be. A DRM system that locks you out of the game if you're offline for more than seven days adds to the air of unfriendliness. Only devoted wargamers with a love of the sea are likely to endure these indignities long enough to get to the unique delights beyond.

SimHQ writes: "When you look at the major naval actions of the 20th Century Jutland sometimes gets lost in the shuffle.

Storm Eagle Studios, the creators of the outstanding Distant Guns naval simulation / wargame decided to tackle one of the more interesting naval events of the first half of the 20th century. I have had the chance to put about 25 to 30 hours into the game and have had a fairly good chance to evaluate this naval simulation."

Storm Eagle Studios has released a playable demo for Jutland. The JUTLAND Demo Edition features unlimited play of two Demo scenarios, including the multiplayer feature. An additional 17 scenarios can be previewed and played for 10 minutes while using the Demo Edition. These include 3 Jutland Scenarios.
