Whity the Reviewer: X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Review

This is based on the upcoming movie, Wolverine. How does it fair? Another movie to game crap or something more?

What a horrible review, sad to see Raven Software go from making games like Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast to sh*tty movie tie-ins.

I liked it to the point. the rap was funny stupid but the review was fine. raven was making a wolverine game before the movie tie in and then switched it to correlate with the tie in. I wish the movie was as good as the cut scenes. It was bloody as all hell.

You can button mash in God of War but you won't get very far. And this "Whity" person obviously has a thing for mediocre hack 'n slash titles. He reviewed Ninja Blade and scored the game 9/10.

But seeing that footage has amped up my hype level from absolutely zero interest to rent ASAP.. the brutality of it is finally what this kind of game needed. Sounds like a whole lot of mindless fun and I can't wait.

One thing to mention on this game and Whitey says a few times it feels rushed or they didn't have time to fix some bugs. This game was actually due to be released over a year ago, but the movie was pushed back. Raven Soft had a ton of extra time to go in and make additions, changes, polish to the game to bring it to the next level. Bugs in there were probably due to new features or poor testing, but it definitely isn't a rush it out the door movie game if that is any consolation if you are thinking of picking it up.
