the graphics on this game is dated, needs an upgrade (wont happen)

I think it looks nice. It doesn't have the technical wow of newer MMOs, but the art style is good enough to keep it from looking too dated. Blizzard is amazing at making low detail things look great.

man, it looks really weak.
i can't complain on the fps though - it was 250 and it is 250.
i hoped that it would at least look like a decent 360/ps3 game, but everything is still squared.

There's only so much you can do with an old engine. WoW has never been a graphical powerhouse, but the graphics are just good enough to make some very interesting environments. The game is beautiful as long as you're not a graphics whore.

I guess they don't really know how to optimize.

That's possibly one of the worst looking games i've seen and runs even worse.

A 6800gt should be able to run that game in high @ 60fps easily.

Wtf is taking the power so much. Dam!!!

Needs a completely new engine.

So they went from late 2000 to early 2001 graphics...Impressed (NOT)

The game does a fine job at transmiting the feeling of fantasy and a variety of scenarios. All else are accessories, it looks how it has to look, nothing more, nothing less.

Could it use a higher poly count and a new engine? Yes
Would it make that big difference in the game? I don´t think so.
