So why is this on the Wii again? >.<

It's cool Nintendo has a great exclusive, but c'mon. It's better to play this game with a CG controller and not the frikin Wiimote? =[

If Muramasa was on PS3/360 it would be in 1080p, and we would have a better controller.

I still can't wait to play this game though.

IdleLeeSiuLung5503d ago

Completely agree, would have preferred to see this on the PS3 and/or Xbox 360 at full 1080p!

On the flip side, my Wii finally gets some use.

Smacktard5503d ago

So you're saying that the 360 and PS3 controllers are better than the Gamecube controllers? Cause if so I LAUGH in your faces.

IdleLeeSiuLung5503d ago

In my opinion the Xbox 360 controller (other than the crappy d-pad) is hands down the best controller I have ever used.

The GC controller is among the worst IMO and for that I laugh in your face.

BeNice5503d ago

This studios is very small I believe they ran into financial problems making this game alone. They cannot afford to do this game in hd in any way. Their games also have a very niche audience and don't sell all that much as proven by the games they released on the ps2.

Also of the 3 games they released before this. Muramasa has already outsold 2 of them in ts first week. That gives you an idea of how much their games sell.

" If Muramasa was on PS3/360 it would be in 1080p, and we would have a better controller."

.........=/

" The GC controller is among the worst IMO and for that I laugh in your face."
But you see thats a subjective matter.

xabmol5502d ago (Edited 5502d ago )

I just can't stand that a lot of games on the Wii don't even use the Wii's main selling point. The motion controls. =[

ChickeyCantor5502d ago

At least they give choice with this game before half of all gamers go apesh/t.

Atleast appreciate they gave you these options.
Man people are never happy.

N4g_null5502d ago

Seriously the control would not be better. Oh yeah the PS controller sucks for side scrollers also. The HD fans don't even talk about the 2d games coming. They only talk about the games that win fan boy flames arguments over power. You guys really have lost sight of what gaming is about. More of you may actually end up leaving console gaming this gen also. Console gaming has never made sense to PC gamers and even though you call the HD console, "console" it is host to a bunch of PC games right now.

You guys are really in denial about what has happened this gen. Another thing is you may call your self hardcore but console hardcore are not loyalist at all. We simple look for fun games. That is what the industry needs.

Elitism kills every thing fun.

Man I can't wait, muramasa and uncharted 2.

bigjclassic5503d ago

Keep the good games coming. But alas, the "Wii hating N4G crowd"
will not care and complain that is not on their console of choice.

Cant Wait for Muramasa!!

Doctor Strange5503d ago

I loved Odin Sphere so this is a must have for me, the game looks awesome can't wait for it to come out.

N4g_null5502d ago

This game is so sick! SO SO sick!
This is hardcore gaming and also cartoony games do not sell on the HD systems, as all the 2d games that came out that where just as animated as this game.

[Interview] Vanillaware's George Kamitani Talks About His Influences And Upcoming Projects

Nintenderos: "We kick off our interviews this year with a very special one with George Kamitani, president of Vanillaware. In case you didn't know this study, it is the one behind games of the stature of Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Odin Sphere or Dragon's Crown. In addition to, of course, unforgettable titles like the wonderful 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim published by Atlus a few months ago."

I enjoy when games are treated as art.

Japanese games can help bring myths to life

How do you introduce people to folklore and fairy tales? Introducing people to mythology can be easy when they are young or in school, as such stories can sometimes be used to teach morals, introduce concepts that might be difficult for people to otherwise understand, act as warnings and get imaginations working. Once folks get older, it can be more difficult to get them engaged and interested in legends. Fortunately, some Japanese video games can step in to bridge the gap.
