Chris Winkler writes "Originally announced last year, the newest installment in Marvelous' action RPG franchise Valhalla Knights, Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga now has its own web presence.
As the title suggests, the game takes place in the land of Eldar. This region located in the Western part of the continent is the last stronghold of the evil forces which have fought a long and bloody battle, with an alliance of humans, elves, dwarves and hobbits fighting the powers of evil."
Digitally Downloaded writes: "Often the Wii was criticised for its perceived lack of quality third party games to play, but it's not the case at all. The Wii had some excellent third party games to play, it's just that some of them required a little digging to get to."
This series is destined to be quickly forgotten in the west (it actually has a strong niche in Japan), which is a pity, because there’s a lot to like about these games. They're not for everyone, but JRPG fans looking for something a little different would do well to try these out.
Neocrisis: Continuing a bumper year of releases, Rising Star Games has confirmed Eldar Saga's 2010 release date as 17th September. The game will fill a niche in the current games climate by appealing to Wii owners who are interested in the RPG format.
hmmm? coming to west?
