IGN: Formula 1 2009 Preview

IGN writes: "So Formula 1 2009 on Wii and PSP is looking like a serious prospect, but we can't help but be curious about next year's instalment that's to hit the more powerful platforms. Is what we've seen of Formula 1 2009 indicative of what to expect for 2010's game? "There is a longer term plan, but for now we just want to focus on this one," says Wakelam, although a single presentation slide outlines the direction that Formula 1 2010 is going to take. 'Be the Driver, Live the Life' is the slogan suggesting that the engaging career modes that have marked out Codemasters recent efforts such as GRID and DiRT will play a part in the game".

Excellent, another reason to dust off the PSP. Can't wait for the PS3/360 version though :-)
And Formula 1 is not boring at all Zeit, it was in the Shumacher days but certainly not any more.

wow there talking up the wii version it must be top notch or they wouldnt release it this year reputation is at risk collin mcrae dirt 2 is getting released on wii along side pc/360/ps3 this winter so they must have a very good wii engine or they woulnt do the game full stop this is why no ps2/ds versions they are bottom league when it comes to graphics still think they could have released a dsi version that looked the same as psp dsi is basically dreamcast specs so very possible they dub handheld games down to make the console couter parts look even better 16-20 MB RAM,200mhz clock speed,60 fps graphics engine, plus a 133 mhz proccessor, and another 67mhz proccessor, and the 33mhz for 2D so not bad specs really so twice or more the ds lite power wow

Considering the PSPs CPu was unlocked in 2007, and the last F1 game on the PSP came out in 2006 i believe, i'm really looking forward to seeing that extra 33% of CPU power put to good use. I really need a good racing game on the PSP.

GamerPops: Formula One 2009 Wii Review

GamerPops

"Overall, I found Formula One 2009 a letdown. The Wii is a bit lacking in the racing genre, and this was a chance to step in and offer Wii gamers an exciting experience. Hopefully Codemasters can learn from this experience and improve on their game."

Everyeye.it Review: Formula 1 2009 (Wii)

Everyeye.it: It was the distant 1998. To be precise it was in September 1998. YLG: F1 2009 Review

No race fixing, no political in-fighting and definitely no sex scandals – F1 2009 is all about the adrenaline-pumping g-force action on the track.

It was 2006 when the last Formula 1 game appeared on PSP so a new version has been long overdue. Since the last game there have been countless rule changes, a bunch of new countries joining the F1 circus and more negative stories rocking the sport than Michael Schumacher had grand prix wins.
