You gotta be kidding me!

Come on. You blow things up on consoles with guns, racing the sickest cars, jumping trough paradise land with great stories.

If you wanna "feel" like fishing then go outside and do it.
Really, I'm sorry but this is stupid. No matter the console.

Imagine some friends or family coming by and you are standing there fishing in a dark room in front of the TV. LOL.

locos855504d ago

That's hilarious. lol

they might think you are jerking off!!! LOL

KingME5504d ago (Edited 5504d ago )

You guys obviously don't fish. If you even liked fishing a little bit, you could see the fun that this can be. Let me ask you this, although I don't know what type of fishing it is, can you just go outside and do some deep sea fishing? Can you just go to the local polution hole in your neighborhood and reel in a marlin?

Don't knock it because you don't do it. Everything on a console doesn't have to be shooting an AK47 at enemy soldiers.

Edit: I've noticed that you guys (all three of you) are PS3 Fanboys, would you be talking smack about this game if he was coming to the PS3? I'm thinking not.

locos85 - Lol, a little bit like the Wii mote :b

KingME - Respect. But I still think it's hilarious.

"Don't knock it because you don't do it. Everything on a console doesn't have to be shooting an AK47 at enemy soldiers."

- No it doesn't.

/ Goes back to play Zuma.

The Dreamcast had something similar, I remember it well!

Fun fact, the motion sensor could also be used for fighting games like Soul Caliber, it worked really well, Dreamcast vs. Wii ftw!

Living in Vancouver B.C has its advantages. I can drive less than half an hour and go fresh water or salt water fishing 10 months of the year. pretty sweet.

@Elven5

I still have my dreamcast fishing controller along with Sega Bass Fishing, Reel Wild Fishing, and Sega Marine Fishing (the best!).

My kids love catching the mako sharks in the Marine Fishing game, and I love catching the yellowfin tuna since they put up a hell of a fight.

Fishing games are fun, it's a good move to bring it to the 360.

Sorry KingME I Would laugh twice as much if it came to the PS3. I would tell people about it too. You do your fishing and I'll pass.. As I said I still think it is hilarious and also i wrote "No matter the console".. Just my opinion I'm not saying you should agree with it at all and I respect your enthusiasm for this new gear.. :)

Ha, I was about to say the same thing! Bass Fishing on the Dreamcast. Takes me back.... :)

Tip: Anyone still got their old rod? The Dreamcast ones fetch a good price on ebay.

TheColbertinator5504d ago

The only fishing game I ever enjoyed was made from Sega

KingKionic 5504d ago

Now this is amazing. now all then need to make a good CONTROLLER for that massage community game.

Heldrasil5504d ago

it doesn't take much to gut a 360 controller and shove the innards into a hollowed out..."toy" eh hem, ya

As a huge fan of fishing games, this one looks to be the best one yet! Reel Fishing for the Amiga has always been the one to judge all others by and with the current console fishing sims out there this one should be on any fishing fans list.

Two things that do come to mind ,1 the controler is wired and I can't seem to find a release date anywhere.Soon as it shows up on Game Stops web site ,I will pre-order it. Thanks for the excellent interview!

Piranha Games Licenses Infernal Engine For The Strike and The Hunt

Terminal Reality says its proprietary Infernal Engine, used in its Ghostbusters games, is being used by Piranha Games in two titles: bass fishing title The Strike, and hunting simulation The Hunt.

"Everyone knows about Ghostbusters, but we at Terminal Reality believe in the extreme versatility of the Infernal Engine," says sales and marketing VP Joe Kreiner.

Kreiner points out that both Piranha titles employ peripherals -- a fishing pole for The Strike and a rifle accessory for the Hunt, and he says this "shows how well the Infernal Engine works with gaming peripherals."
