Muramasa: The Demon Blade receives new publisher and release date

Ignition Entertainment Ltd., a UTV Enterprise, a worldwide publisher and developer of videogames, in conjunction with Marvelous Entertainment and Vanillaware, today announced the September 2009 U.S. release of the much-anticipated video game, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.

I told you guys to wait for the ink to dry. News does not go out till people have signed all the necessary papers.

This game should do fine. This and conduit, madworld, sin and pun2, red steel 2 and motion plus with almost a half a year to go is looking pretty sweet to me. Oh and I forgot about FF:CB and monster hunter.

Japanese games can help bring myths to life

How do you introduce people to folklore and fairy tales? Introducing people to mythology can be easy when they are young or in school, as such stories can sometimes be used to teach morals, introduce concepts that might be difficult for people to otherwise understand, act as warnings and get imaginations working. Once folks get older, it can be more difficult to get them engaged and interested in legends. Fortunately, some Japanese video games can step in to bridge the gap.
