I heard that another company is picking it up. They better or I'm gonna flip.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

This was like the only game other than Tatsunoko vs. Capcom I was interrested in on the Wii....

Here I thought the excitement for games on the Wii couldn't get any lower.

Smacktard5491d ago

It sold like 90% of its shipment in Japan in the first week. This was the game I was most looking forward to out of any game coming out. IGN said that another publisher has picked it up already. I hope it's not Nintendo, or else "LOL NO PUBLISH 4 U"

I really hope this gets released ;_;

ButterToast5491d ago

Wow, winter being canned, nintendo not publishing fatal frame 4, and now this. :'(

N4g_null5491d ago

It's still coming let the ink dry.

AAACE55490d ago

Whoever picks it up, I hope it goes multiplat! I really don't want to buy a Wii just for this game. I wonder if it is coming to DSi?

Seferoth755490d ago

@buttertoast, Winter was never greenlit to be cancelled. Had you even bothered to read about it you would know this. FF4 was a bad game with horrible controls. If Nintendo published it you would simply use it as yet another excuse to hate on them for bad games.

Murmassa is still coming to the US. they just have another publisher now who wanted it more. Not like the US release is cancelled.

This is the worst gaming news I've heard in while...hope someone else picks it up.

Importing is expensive.

Gue15491d ago (Edited 5491d ago )

The worst? Man, Fatal Frame 4 is not getting an American release either! Things are getting really bad!

Thoreau5491d ago

nintendo, publish this game.

SpoonyRedMage5491d ago

Agreed, hopefully someone will pick it, perhaps Sega or even Namco or SE or someone?

Bottom line, someone needs to pick this up!

Seferoth755490d ago

Someone already picked it up.. Geez.. does the article not even say that because the original press release from them did. they didnt say who picked it up though.

deno5491d ago

This is horrible news. If this game does not get released, I will sell my wii. My most anticipated game for 2009 is this game.

xabmol5491d ago (Edited 5491d ago )

Fackin WEAKSAUCE!!

The Wii Dolphin has our back though. >8]

LOL All this talk about piracy and now we're literally forced to download it. xD

[Interview] Vanillaware's George Kamitani Talks About His Influences And Upcoming Projects

Nintenderos: "We kick off our interviews this year with a very special one with George Kamitani, president of Vanillaware. In case you didn't know this study, it is the one behind games of the stature of Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Odin Sphere or Dragon's Crown. In addition to, of course, unforgettable titles like the wonderful 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim published by Atlus a few months ago."

I enjoy when games are treated as art.

annoyedgamer1118d ago

Hitman should go in there. That Japanese level is something to behold.

The village in Monster Hunter Rise has wonderful art direction.

Japanese games can help bring myths to life

How do you introduce people to folklore and fairy tales? Introducing people to mythology can be easy when they are young or in school, as such stories can sometimes be used to teach morals, introduce concepts that might be difficult for people to otherwise understand, act as warnings and get imaginations working. Once folks get older, it can be more difficult to get them engaged and interested in legends. Fortunately, some Japanese video games can step in to bridge the gap.
