Mass Effect 2 - BioWare hints at pre-E3 info-drop

VG247: BioWare's just tweeted that E3 may be too long to wait for Mass Effect 2 details.

The game that will kill the entire PS3.

Imallvol75510d ago

and yet it will probably be on ps3, lol

Why dis5510d ago (Edited 5510d ago )

By that time I'll be playing Final Fantasy Versus on the 360.

EDIT Below: So you know it won't be coming to PS3 then.

You said *ironically ME was the game that did kill your 360* before the edit.

Fishy Fingers5510d ago (Edited 5510d ago )

Ironically, Mass Effect actually DID kill my 360.

TheColbertinator5510d ago (Edited 5510d ago )

@Snatcher

No game can kill the PS3,not even Halo 3

The only thing that can kill the PS3 is Sony itself

@Jimmy Page

...Right.

Marcus Fenix5510d ago

but im not sure if I want 2 read info about the game right now, it'll just make the wait more painful than it is, this game is a blind must buy 4 me, this and Bioshock 2 r unique experiences 2 me

lukeb4dunk5510d ago

Not trying to be a fanboy here, but Mass Effect is the only 360 game that makes me wish I had a 360. But those are the breaks I guess.

Traveler5510d ago

It's my favorite 360 exclusive by far and one of my favorite games period. I wish the 360 had more of them though.

Mass Effect = Awesome
Gears of War, Halo 3, Fable 2 = good
Anything else? Not much, in my opinion. All the other great games are multiplatform.

pain777pas5510d ago

Please EA and Bioware I am only asking for this great game to be released on the PS3. yes I have a 360 and all but I love the PS3 and the system is reliable and quieter. Look just show us some love look at how M$ took FF13 and PS3 owners have come to accept this. You can do it you know you can.

Great, I'm looking forward to something more than artwork, nice as it is. Hopefully the news doesnt come via twitter too, I perfer more than one line of text at a time.

Traveler5510d ago

I'm really looking forward to Mass Effect 2. The first one, despite its technical problems is one of my favorite games.

It will be interesting to see if this game makes its way to the PS3. In a way I don't think it should. The 360 needs at least a few decent exclusives. Now that most multiplatform games are dang near identical (I bought Chronicles of Riddick for the PS3 because I thought it looked and felt slightly better) I'm finding fewer reasons to use my 360. Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake could help.

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan46d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave46d ago (Edited 46d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
