KidzWorld Review: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

Join the gang from Madagascar in a whole new adventure from the folks at Activision. If you are a big fan of hilarious animal escapades, this is the game for you. NWR: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Review

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is filled with a lot of unnecessary elements - like touch screen mini-games - that attempt to extend the life of a short game. It is perfectly suited to children who enjoyed the movies and can overlook the game's more glaring flaws. TTFF: Madagascar 2 Review

TTFF:

"All in all, Madagascar 2 packs a lot of fun for all ages. The
characters' personalities and comments keep it lively and the variety
of challenges and games keep the game play fun. Even though we haven't
been out to see the movie yet, we found the game very enjoyable and it
has increased anticipation to see the movie although it may have also
allowed us to wait a little longer since we have the game to entertain
us for now."

X360: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Review

This game is out-and-out one of the funniest X360 has played to date. Julien, the lemur king voiced by Sacha Baron Cohen in the film, is a laugh-out-loud scream. The comedy even manages to bleed through to the situations outside of the game's excellent dialogue. Tasks include whacking moles over the head, playing 'soccer', and slamming suitcases shut with Gloria's copious behind, to name but a few. Of course, if you're in your twenties or thirties and enjoy Call Of Duty, you'd do well to steer clear, but kids, especially those who liked the film, are going to simply love this. Well done Activision.
