Hackers dump dsi games

Hackers have found a way to dump DSiWare games but at the moment they are useless dumps as the games are unplayable. The most recent title in the range to be dumped is Art Style: Code but until the DSi is fully cracked, no hackers will be able to play these dumps.

Wont happen, it's somewhat analogous to playing a Wii game on a gamecube. The underlying hardware may be very similar, identical in some cases, but the DSi has a few extra bits and pieces that DSi specific games will use. Think about it - if the game were able to run on a regular DS, surely that's the format it'd be released since there's already millions upon millions the bloody things out there?

well, the ds light doesnt support the dsi channel, meaning it cant download the games, but if a dsi ware game makes use of regular functions, instead of the camera and stuff, then a dumped game should be playable on the dsl.

Still it's very, very unlikely to ever happen. Even if the game itself doesn't use those features, that doesn't mean it hasn't been built upon libraries that expect them to be there.

The DSi main processor is twice as fast. Also, it has 4x the ram

Actually it may be possible with the exception of Warioware: Snapped because Artstyle Code can be played multiplayer through download play on a DS Phat/Lite.

But you know you could get a DSi and get the games legally.

hopefully nintendo wont be making retail dsi only games, that would be pooper.

Well they said they will be eventually and they're already in the planning stages for the gamecards for "DSi enhanced"(Work on the DS but have bonus features for the DSi) and exclusive DSi games.

Now they'll be complaints about forcing people to upgrade but if they didn't do this there would be complaints that the DSi was a pointless upgrade. It's a bad place to be in really.

hopefully nintendo won't make the 4th version of the DS to stop pirating, like they tried with this, lol, and there an r4 card that works for the dsi now
