Co-Optimus:
Usually game box art is hit or miss as to whether or not what's advertised on the cover is in the game. The upcoming Ghostbusters game from Atari though is being straight up about it.
The Wii, PS2, and DS versions differs greatly in graphical style from the 360 and PS3 version, and the box arts for those respective versions mimic it. Even the ghosts on the E10+ Rated versions aren't as menacing as the T rated version. The It's good to see publishers taking the honest and upfront route in this case.
Matt writes: "10 years ago Ghostbusters The Video Game was released on Xbox 360. A decade later the remaster has been released. We review Saber Interactive's latest game."
WTMG's Todd Eggleston: "Ghostbusters The Video Game is nostalgia done right, and puts you right back in 1984. It isn’t a masterpiece of a game, and neither was the movie, but it reminds us again that it is ok for entertainment to just be entertaining. It is a game that deserves to be remastered and remembered. And 35 years later, it also serves to remind us that a remaster doesn’t always need to be Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott. Sometimes, Ray Parker Jr. is exactly who you need to call."

Does the 360 and PS3 versions have split screen co-op? I wanted to play this with somebody in the same room as me on a HD console. Surely a radical concept like this isn't exclusive to non-HD consoles? Surely HD consoles have enough power to make this happen? Or is it only last gen consoles which have the power to do this?
/sarcasm
i think the problem with split screen now adays is that if the graphics, physics etc are really pushing the engine and machine, it's gonna be hard to display a technically impressive game 'twice' on 1 machine. didn't they say this is why they did split screen in resi 5 the way it is? i.e. 2 smaller screens
anyway is it just me who is confused as to why they are bringing a ghostbusters game out at this particular time?? theres no films (and haven't been any for some time) coming out are there? did they just think 1 day 'a ghost busters game would be cool', i'm not saying the games gonna be good or bad, i'm just surprised it exists :/
Initially, I was excited for the PS3/X360 version (it's what I'll get). But after looking at the different art style and design of the wii/PS2 versions to the PS3/X360, I love it too. I am actually considering of getting the PS2 version as well...it'll depend on my gaming budget since I only score games for the PS3 and X360 these days.
I'm sure some one out there is having this same feeling too.
just release the damn game already
dang! now i want the wii version... too many games to buy. I wonder if the reviews will differ on the wii vs 360. And not just in a fanboy way.
