Mark Rogers from the Official SOCOM blog announced FireTeam Bravo 3 for the Sony PSP.
There was a movie in the 1980s that could be considered the essence of action movies of the decade. That movie is Navy SEALs. SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 has the overall theme of Navy SEALs, except the four-man team in Fireteam Bravo 3 stop a fictional Eastern Bloc army and rescue the President of a county without little problem. The game is a fun third-person shooter for the PSP, among some of the easiest to control, but after completing the game it felt like there wasn't enough for the single-player experience.
"Recently we had the opportunity to sit down with the developers of Fireteam Bravo 3, Slant Six. Shortly after our arrival we were treated to some hands on gameplay. We tested the new features and played around with the Socom arsenal.
Now we are going to share our newly gained knowledge with you to hold you over until its release..."
Already paid this off. We played it at E3 last year and even at that point in development it was tight. They only had two PSP stations set up to run either SP or those two units in Ad Hoc co-op but the game even in Alpha status was looking like a remarkable PSP title.
i cant believe sony is actually letting slant 6 destroy socom series
R.I.P socom you were the next when zipper made them
Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 on the PSP has been delayed until 2010. The only reason provided was due to global marketing issues - "to allow time to get the word out to everyone."
Are we REALLY surprised that it got delayed????? I bet cash money these greedy sons of bit#@!, are holding back the map pack and weapons for Confrontations til the week MW2 drops to try and steal some of Infinity Ward's steam. Which is going to be hard to do when you put out a subpar product.
Play games not developers people. If its good I will buy it regardless of who makes it.
Woohoo, great time in multiplayer on the PSP. I did really like Tactical Strike but I am also glad to see FTB return.
That was pretty random.
I don't like SOCOM, but this great news for the psp and for the fans.
Finally! i never thought that they would bring it back.
Lets see how they prevent hackers from coming to this one and ruining it like the others.
