No DX10 for Bound in Blood

PC Games Hardware interviewed Techland CEO, Pawel Kopinsky, and the Main Engine Engineer of Bound in Blood, Jakub Klarowicz. i wouldnt give 2 cents about dx10 if i would take the decision on the team.
dx10 was/is a sad joke with its vista only policy and the xbox not beeing able to use any dx10 effects.

i do know all the benefits of dx10 and that its actually much better then dx9 and mor produktive working on but that doesnt change the fact that far to few people can actually use dx10 only effects, so you have to make dx 9 version no matter what wich renders every dx10 effect a bonus that is only used by 5% of the gamers.

whats a joke is if ur a serious gamer and ur still using xp

DX10 is overrated, but odd that a new game wouldn't come out with it.

is crysis's graphics overrated

Ghoul5505d ago (Edited 5505d ago )

yes because the benefit of crysis dx10 over crysis dx9 is not enough to justify a mandatory vista install.
