RTS fans and newcomers alike can pick it up, play it, and enjoy it. Accessibility is its greatest asset, and while there's no denying the fun, there is little to call "outstanding," either.
Direct2Drive is offering up Tilted Mill's fantasy RPG Hinterland: Orc Lords for $5 through this week.
It's not worth more than $3 imho, Buggy as hell, tends to crash and no variety whatsoever.
Get the Demo first, the full game is EXACTLY like the demo.
GameSpot writes: "Although an old-school attitude makes Hinterland: Orc Lords a hard sell to the masses, the game is well suited to dedicated strategy and old-school gamers looking for a challenge. A few more options to ease the randomness would have been appreciated, but there's fun to be had here regardless".
Tired of simulation games where it takes longer to read the manual than it does to actually complete the game? Want something slightly more in depth than Cakemania? Take a look at Hinterland, it's really really good and now, it has orcs.
