Ratchet has been one of the true blue platformers of this gen. i'm glad Insomniac are keeping to there roots.. while giving us gems like Reistance. R&C FTOD was my first exposure to the franchise and I was bowled over by just how awesome it was. There was wit, charisma and charm in abundance and I can't for the life of me think why ANYONE would consider it "sterile"(What does that even mean in the context of a game anyway?).

In my opinion the original Jak and Daxter was on par with the Ratchet and Clank series. I really did not like the way the series went after that though.
