The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has posted a couple of DSi games (DSiWare) that are coming soon. A Nintendo game and 2 Gameloft games are listed. The Rating summary descriptions tells a little bit on what the game is, with one involving toilet paper and making it to the bathroom in time.
Paper Airplane Chase (Nintendo)
Real Soccer 2009 (Gameloft)
American Popstar Road To Celebrity (Gameloft)
Icrontic's very own CB Droege brings this week's interesting new gaming releases, including Aliens vs. Predator, Deadly Premonition, Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, and the spotlight release: "The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom".
IGN writes: "I know that American Popstar is a DSIWare game and that there are size limitations that come with it, but that's no excuse. If Gameloft had taken just one of the three gameplay aspects and focused on that, we could have had a decent little downloadable adventure or sim game. The cellphone game had more options for interacting with people, and was actually a more interesting game, since it didn't have crappy touch screen music games to play. If you can only get the rights/memory space for three songs, then maybe a music game is a bad idea".
American Popstar is cute and simple, and anyone who's looking for something cute and simple should have some fun with it, but for anyone looking for something a little more varied than a linear, entry-level Sims-like product might better be served downloading Surviving High School for their cell phone instead.
Meh.
Paper Airplane chase! Woohoo!
Isnt it funny how many of theses DSiware games are Warioware games?
is it just me or do the gameloft titles sound like really bad cellphone games?
