Square Enix Update TAITO Classics for WiiWare

Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces the release of two downloadable titles for WiiWare from TAITO. BUBBLE BOBBLE Plus! will be available for download from 10th April 2009, while Rainbow Islands: Towering Adventure! is set for release in May 2009.

Bubble Bobble Plushies Available in Very Limited Quantities from Strictly Limited

"Taito's Bubble Bobble series started out in 1986 and remains popular to this day. Bubble Bobble 4 didn't get the world on first, but there will be plenty more adventures for Bub and Bob in the future, including the upcoming Puzzle Bobble Everybubble. Merchandise for this series doesn't come to international markets very often, but Strictly Limited Games currently has a bundle of Bub and Bob plushies available to order," says Co-Optimus.

I own Bubble Bobble on NES, SMS, and Genesis I'd say its one of my favorites the music all though repetitive was great.

An HD remaster of this and Rainbow Islands would be quite something.
