Nexon's free-to-play multiplayer online FPS "Combat Arms" just added a new feature called the "Nut Shot," which awards points for shooting males in the nether region. But Tracey John from MTV Multiplayer asked the game-makers: What if you're playing a female avatar?
During GDC, Tracey met with Min Kim, director of Nexon America, to talk about the company's upcoming titles. They also talked about the new feature in multiplayer online FPS "Combat Arms" called the "Nut Shot," which went live in the game last week. As its name suggests, it allows players to score instant kills for shooting male opponents in the groin area. When said Nut Shot is executed, players will see a large graphic of exploding walnuts as well as a golden squirrel, akin to the golden skull that denotes a head shot.
CNN recently compared the Easter murder in Cleveland to video games. Games have often been pointed to as a reason to explain real-world violence, but there's no evidence to support such a claim, Gazette gaming columnist Jake Magee writes.
Combat Arms' latest update brings a new map to the game, and more.
