Rock Band Unplugged will feature more than 40 classic master recordings from both old and new tunes alike, including Nirvana and Weezer. The game will also pack a full World Tour mode that will let you perform around the world in 24 different cities along with the previously announced in-game store, which will let players purchase new songs in order to expand their musical library.
"We’re all on the can at least once a day, and it’s always a short escape from the rigors of our day-to-day lives. Time spent on the porcelain throne varies on the person, but if you own a portable game system then there’s a good chance that you’ve brought them with you on many occasions." - Joe Garcia
LOL! This is great! I'm always looking for games that are to good to play while sitting on the can. No, seriously.
SBG: "The Best to Own Forever series isn’t about what’s great right now. It’s about what will be great in 10 years, even though there will be better-looking games and later sequels, and what will keep you pulling that dusty old console out of the closet every once in a while. In this installment, we look at the PlayStation Portable."
Good list. Wanting to get Corpse Party on my Vita.
Though I would add Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (if you can read Japanese, then portable 3'rd) and Phantasy Star Portable 2, which had a very entertaining story behind it.
I loved my PSP, but when I got my Vita I gave it to a friend who loves JRPG's but never had the money for one.
gran turismo psp should be there since it took almost forever to be released!
and also midnight club 3 DUB edition since its a full PS2 game in the PSP!
While it's by no means an amazing game, people should play Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble. It's the closest thing to a 3D River City Ransom you're going to get.
And besides, who doesn't want to have an eye-laser showdown with a Japanese punkass schoolboy?
Chris Buffa (Modojo): For the most part, video game publishers know what works and what doesn't on a portable system. Terrible games are a part of life, but it's rare to see a bad fit. At the end of the day, companies know a handheld's limitations.
I love portable games but some of these make sense I think. Rock Band Unplugged? Shakes head...
I still didn't buy a PSP. The next PSP model I probably will, hope they show it at E3.
April Fools.
no LP , FAIL
Major money-hungry publishers would never allow all-time greats like Nirvana and Weezer to appear. Why would they when they can make bank off of all the stupid g*y bands of today like Fallout Boy and My Chemical Romance.
This isn't a joke: We WILL be seeing a Rock Band: Jonas Brothers Edition coming soon. Stupid little pre-teen girls are what motivate entertainment these days. Gone are the great old 80's and 90's when Music was great AND cool to listen to. Cartoons were kiddy but still bad-ass (like the Batman and X-Men cartoons from the early 90's), and The Jonas Fa**ots were not even born yet!
Ah! The Good Old Days.
How does rock band for PSP even work? Are there gonna be mini instruments or something? Im not sure this game will be as good as the ones on consoles.
