G3's Matt Joseph looks at the rush, rush, rush version of UNO on Xbox Live Arcade, UNO Rush.
Excerpt: "Uno Rush is a great game, anyone can play it, and anyone will enjoy it. It is clearly targeted at the casual gamer but the hardcore gamers shouldn't be scared off. Uno Rush takes more strategy and thinking than you expect and to master the game, you really must be perceptive, thinking and constantly planning your next move and arranging your cards, because if your turn comes and you have to re-arrange 10 cards in a matter of 3 seconds, trust me you will fail, you will be rushed and won't be able to think."
Those who had an Xbox 360 near its launch know the importance of Uno. And now that experience is gone.
RunDLC listed five games that it feels would be more enjoyable with Kinect support. The list includes Lumines Live! and Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2.
Console Monster writes: "There's no doubt in my mind that UNO was one of the surprise hits of the Xbox Live Arcade. When it released, not even Microsoft could predict that thousands of gamers would sit down to play a simple card game accompanied by some soothing music. UNO fans rejoiced in June 2008 when a sequel to the popular title was revealed at the E3 Expo in the form of UNO Rush.
The concept behind UNO was to be the first person to successfully call "UNO" and be the first person to discard of all their cards on the discard pile. Taking it in turns, cards of the same colour or number to the one on the discard pile would be placed on top. Alternatively, players can place an "action" card which changes the colour of the pile. Not being able to play, results in the player obtaining a card from the deck..."
