GDC: Rhythm Paradise screens

These are the latest shots of DS title Rhythm Paradise, formerly known as Rhythm Heaven, straight out of GDC.

Here's the official description of the rhythm action game, which is due to hit UK stores on May 1:

Rhythm Heaven features original music in dozens of rhythm-based minigames. Even though the controls are simple to grasp, each minigame challenges the player's grasp of rhythm by throwing in interesting beats and off-beats.

Rhythm Paradise is charming, funny, immersive, original, musical and... difficult! If your inner rythm structures aren't good enough to follow the beats of f.i. The Prodigy you'll be sweating like a pig if you want to complete the entire game. Those that love music, super original and refreshing minigames or like a challenge is at the right address with this new DS game.

* Good music and graphics
* Lots of variation
* Very charming

* Sometimes too difficult
* Not always clear what you need to do
