WTP Review: Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure

Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure is a quirky mix of two very different game styles in a single adventure. The game, which has been designed exclusively for the Nintendo DS, makes use of the device's dual screens by placing a distinct challenge on each screen. On the top screen, players control Henry Hatsworth himself; a quirky and amusing parody of a tea-sipping 19th century English adventurer. The format of this portion is a classic platform game that involves Henry traversing the environment, collecting items and attacking bad guys in his effort to find a "Magical Golden Suit" while looking to outwit his opponents from the "Pompous Adventurers Club." On the bottom screen, players must engage in a "match three" style puzzle game by swapping blocks horizontally to make lines of three or more of the same color.

The Power of Personality in The Power of Illusion

"Other gaming mascots better watch out, because the release of The Power of Illusion will mean Mickey's third major game appearance for the year 2012 -- other two being Kingdom Hearts 3D and Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. One And Done: Will These Characters Return?

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Not every video game hero has a career like Mario and Sonic's. Of course, not every game deserves a sequel. Some were never meant to produce a series, while others bombed at retail, the respective publishers cutting their losses and moving on to something presumably more lucrative.

As a result, many of these characters fade into obscurity, killing the opportunity to see them again.
