It goes without saying that the Shin Megami Tensei subseries, Persona, has become one of the most beloved RPG series in recent memory, but it didn’t start out that way.

SOOOOOOOOOO like the last few Persona games then?
It's a shame they didn't just talk about Shin Megami Tensai in general
Twinfinite Writes: With the release of Persona 5 we take a look at some absolutely stunning cosplay from across the long-running RPG series.
I loved the Persona series, lets see what they do with this game.
Why are they sticking with the First Person view? Why not go to the 3rd person like in Persona 3 and 4? I know its a remake, but why not stick with the formual thats working.
Still give mes another reason to pick up a PSP, just hope i dont get screwed with a new model right after I get it.
I would not call the original a classic unless you are talking about the Japanese version.
The US version of Persona on PS1 was butchered in many ways. The script was changed in many places and the characters were even renamed to sound more American. It wasn't really until Persona 2 and more so Persona 3 that the series really started to shine.
The great thing about the new version of Persona coming out is that they are fixing all of that horrible stuff. They are re translating the game and making it fall more in line with the style of Persona 3 and 4 so as to appeal to the new found fans of the series. This will basically be the definitive version of the game if you will.
Can't wait I just hope they hurry up and get the game out soon.
