From GamesWire.net: "For those of you interested in an MMO with boats, we've got seven new shots of Koei's upcoming sea-traversing online adventure, Uncharted Waters Online: Sur del Cruz."
Andriasang: Koei tried selling its sea-based MMORPG Uncharted Waters Online to PS3 owners as a retail release. Now it's using a different tactic to get console owners logged into the game's servers and paying monthly service fees.
The Asian hardcopy over here is actually called "Costa Del Sol".... but since it's an MMORPG, I might get FFIV or Eve online for that fix.

Its actually a really good series, i loved it back in the days. But this one. i am not sure.
Nine Over Ten 9/10 writes: "Perhaps the first Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game for the PS3 is coming out tomorrow (!) in the form of Daikoukai Jidai (a.k.a. Unchartered Waters) Online: Cruz del Sur.
Currently the game is only available in Japanese and I've a hard time translating the official site, but here's some information: the game is selling at a retail price of 6,090 YEN (around USD 64) and each copy comes with 30 days of free online play. After that you'll need to purchase 30-day Play Tickets which sell for 1,575 YEN each (around USD 16)."
mm... I think the same fee system will apply to Age of Conan for 360, so I can't say anything about the fees, but if both games succeed on their respective consoles we will see more games of this kind on both.
even thought all games are overpriced(60$)there s few of them that i buy on preorder or first day,Others i buy on some speecial deals or months after release. And beside that 15$ monthly just to play??U wont get my money 4 sure.Glad that agency is free and i hope dc ll be also...
Look at guild wars,over 6 mil.copies sold(reason:no fee,and game is still great)
ps3cc The PlayStation 3 may be light on RPGs now, but it's getting plenty of MMORPG love with games like DC Universe Online, Free Realms, and the Agency in development. Predating all of Sony Online Entertainment's projects is a title from Dynasty Warriors maker Koei.
I hope they are free to play. Only MMO I paid for was FFXI and I will not pay again.
Well let's hope they don't target a teen audience with this one like with Free Realms. I was so disappointed when I found out Free Realms was to be catering to 13yr to 16yr old demographic.
MMORPG here, MMORPG theer, PS3 full of MMORPG... why i see 0 of them still? O_o
I'd like a nice one on my PS3, hope the programmers wake up.
Damn...I thought this was related to the Uncharted series starring Nathan Drake!
