"[P]ushing the homosexual agenda." Amazing. Yup, they try to get you hooked through the digital versions of 80s board games. I can't believe we didn't see it coming.

SL1M DADDY5526d ago

It's not the inclusion of the same-sex option that was insidious, it was the fact that in posting a review of the game and explaining her concerns, the womans post was censored. Sorry, but if you have to censor somebody's opinion of your game for some sexually related point of view, they there may be other motives involved. It was the censorship that was insidious.

to the author of the story: Way to twist the truth arse hole.

lsujester5526d ago

But we don't know WHY her review was censored. She could have spouting crap about how the "gays are ruining America's children" or something for all we know.

TheDude2dot05526d ago

Most homophobes are screaming 12 year olds or pissed off mothers. I doubt the post was a good contribution.

So it's official then. PC's aren't family friendly either. First the Wii now this. It's been a bad week eh?

As a former Christian who's gay I can say that prayer and asking God for help didn't help me like women. I don't know where these conservatives get off thinking that somehow same-sex couples will have anything to do with their own marriages. Homosexuality isn't something you learn. You can't be brainwashed into liking other men.

If one day I wake up wanting pu$$y then I'll go back to church but until then, I wish people would just let people do their own thing and quit shoving religion in others' faces.

Blademask5527d ago

Still goes on. Im just glad the modern world is getting educated enough to make their own choices. Its just a form of control.

BTW, you're gay. ;)

Skizelli5527d ago (Edited 5527d ago )

How is it a form of control when most people are free to believe in whatever they choose? I know many people who are religious by choice, who didn't necessarily grow up in a religious household. The problem here is the radicals who take things too far. That can be said about any group of people, religious or not. Even fanboys.

I'm not very religious, but I have nothing against it personally. To me, the people who speak ill of it are just as bad as the ones who take religion to an extreme. Both sides tend to say hateful things, but it doesn't mean there isn't good people on either side.

Unfortunately, bad people make poor choices in the name of religion, giving it a bad rep. Don't agree? Then think of it this way: When a disturbed individual shoots somebody and blames it on a video game, it makes video games look bad to those who don't play them. But those who play them know better. See where I'm going with this?

You can be a former member of a Christian denomination, but you cannot be a former Christian.

... what does it matter to them if there are gay people in our society!? Worry about your own sorry life.

"According to the WND report, one unnamed “concerned mother” found that the inclusion of same-sex marriages raised questions in her six-year old daughter that she wasn’t ready to answer. "

Really!? Wow... maybe that means you're unfit to be a mother!?
Just tell your kid that some men only fall in love and want to be with other men, and some women only fall in love with girls and want to be with other women. Simple.

The Christian Right's mama is so fat that if her weight was in proportion to how correctly they believe they've interpreted the Bible, when their mama rolls over in bed she kills everyone in China.

Because their mama is as big as China and believes that it is her bed.

Teaching Kids About Money Through Use of Games

Teaching kids about money and financial responsibility is extremely hard. However, parents should emphasize importance of financial responsibility to their kids at a very young age. For that, parents can use video games or board games to help teach kids about money.

I play monopoly a lot with my younger sister. Fun game and hope she picks up some life tips as well.

Yeah Monopoly is my favorite too. I prefer a board version to computer one though. Something about holding actual dice makes me feel nostalgic.
