GDN: Zatikon Review

GDN writes: "Zatikon is a "strategy" game that works by allowing the player to build his or her own army from a diverse array of units to battle it out against an AI or human opponent online. The game offers a plethora of units from Wyrms to Dragons to Mages and Masons. The sheer variety of units is nice but they don't really feel unique, partly due to how the game handles them. The units do not walk, they just slide (and an annoying sliding sound-generic to all units-plays out)".

BoomTown Review: Zatikon

Zatikon is not the most inspiring title at first glance. It is a turn based 2D strategy game set on an oversized chess board. You control various unit types which appear as tiles and the object is to move them up the board and capture your opponent's castle. This deceptively simple game conceals a great depth of strategic options.
