WiiWare and Virtual Console Monday releases for 3.9.09 (US)

Nintendo starts the week off with a couple new WiiWare and Virtual Console games. Here are the newest games available on the Wii Shop today (available beginning 9am PST):

WiiWare Release:
Gradius ReBirth (Konami, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone-Mild Fantasy Violence, 1,000 Wii Points)

Virtual Console Release:
Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars (SEGA MASTER SYSTEM, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone-Comic Mischief, Crude Humor, 500 Wii Points)

Rumor has it they are waiting to release their big guns for after the sd card solution hits....which is also rumored to be later this month.

You notice they havent released a NeoGeo or N64 game in like 4 months? the sd cad solution would mean more storage for those huge memory blocks.

We'll see at the end of this month what happens.

Aussie-Nintendo: Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars Review

After just a handful of games, SEGA's Master System support is all but dead on the Virtual Console. Putting Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars on there probably didn't help.
