There's little question that 7th Dragon and Etrian Odyssey were separated at birth. Not only do their graphics have a similar arboreal beauty, they also have incredibly similar mechanical underpinnings as well. 7th Dragon begins by asking you to form a guild of custom-made characters whose classes and skill tress are very, very similar to EO's. Create a Knight and you effectively have an EO Protector, all the way down to skills that let you choose to protect the front and back lines.
