Destructoid: Hammerin' Hero Preview

Destructoid writes: "We like that this game has a bit of difficulty built in, too. Big hammer or not, this is not a game you'll just march through. There's fun power-ups to help you along, including lunches made by your girlfriend. If she makes a particularly good lunch, it will transform you and help you out in battle. She's not the best cook, though.

We're really digging what we've seen of Hammerin' Hero so far. I miss good ol' platforming like this, and it's definitely welcome on the PSP. We'll be back with a full review closer to the April 7th release date".

I'm sure people will like this, their games ARE hard to find :)

retailers in new york stock everything and that include Atlus games

ATLUS should get its own PSN Publisher Store if they keep on pumping out games on the PSN. SO far, EA(EA SPORTS), Capcom and R* got their own store.

They should put Demons Souls on the PSN store. It may be a huge, expensive download but it beats never finding a copy of the game.

VGChartz: Hammerin' Hero Review

VGChartz writes: "It's a dude with a big head and an even bigger hammer, how could it not be awesome?" Such was my response when the cashier at my local retailer asked me why I picked up Hammerin' Hero for the PSP, an obscure Japanese title brought over by Atlus. A throwback to the old Hammering Harry titles, the game is a 2.5D platformer touting stylish visuals, a wacky storyline, and an old school difficulty level. Remarkable on some levels and mediocre on others, Hammerin' Hero rises above its obscurity to become a title worth checking out for fans of classic 2D platforming."
