Gamezine writes: "I was pretty nervous heading down to EA Monday morning to see BattleForge - real-time strategy has never been my strength. In fact, let's face it; this has been a horrible weakness.
I remember trying to play StarCraft and getting stuck on about the third campaign mission. Maybe I just need to apply myself? All I could do was put forth a valiant effort at this BattleForge multiplayer hands-on event, and who could tell what would happen? Maybe the card battling system would work for me."
Theshigen writes "Battleforge was a rather novel idea. It combined collectable card game mechanics with real-time strategy, something new and fresh back in 2009. It's been re-released today as Skylords Reborn. A fan-made project that's made the gamer, completely free."
