Kotaku writes: "In June of last year, we heard that there was a new Battlefield game in development for the Korean market. This is it. It's called Battlefield Online, and will be out later this year.
Built on the Battlefield 2 engine, BFO will pit US forces against Russia in a Middle Eastern setting, with up to 64 players supported at any one time. And...that's about where the details end, because EA and local team Neowiz are playing stingy with the announcements, promising to drip-feed stuff like unit info over the next few months.
You can check out the teaser trailer and site below, but be warned, for some reason I could only get it running in Internet Explorer."
Sorting the good from the bad (company), these are our picks for the best Battlefield games of all time
For me Battlefield 1942 is my fav, and best overall. Would be nice if DICE remastered this in the new engine and expansions that came with it. I know it would sell a ton.
Battlefield 2 for me it was first large scale mp battles
when i first fired it up and my pc could run it I went and spent over £100 on keyboard just to play the game
Flying a troop carrier to the mainland with 6 pals in the back and one in a cobra alongside I got goose bumps.... happy days
They got it right, Nothing was better then Bad Company 2 and sadly since DICE doesn't know why it was so good we will never get a Battlefield like that game ever again.... For the first time ever I don't even think I will buy this one, Battlefield V just looks like a Battlefield 1 reboot...So I guess I'm done, it was nice while it lasted...
mobile games continue to squeeze the game market. Online game market has been reduced. So do the life spans of online games, especially of Korean MMOs. Almost every day, new MMOs enter all kinds of tests (first closed beta test, second closed beta test, open beta test and more). And every day, plenty of MMOs have been pronounced dead, especially Korean MMOs, again. Some of them are once big titles, and some of them have big budgets. Here are 5 Korean MMOs that died in the first half of 2013. Time to convey our condolence to these ones by taking a look at them.
RaiderZ has excellent combat system and boss battles. Sadly thats about the only good thing about the game. It lacks some of basic features that you find modern mmos today. The guild system is extremely basic. Its basically a friend list.
There were no guild wars. The auction house was just as terrible. I don't know why items that players can't obtain or buy were in the auction taking up space.
RaiderZ only consist of one race which players can choose from, humans. There's only four classes(five if you include assassin class, which isn't the NA version yet).
Overall the game is/was plague with many problems. It lacks basic features to compete with other mmos. I don't even see the NA version lasting long.
Chinagame: "I suppose EA Dice and Changyou figured it will be more popular amongst a Chinese audience for a FPS game to introduce role-play elements."
If it's just like BF2 but free, I'll be over the moon.
If it's like BF2 with zero modability, I'll avoid this like the plague, as vBF2 was a joke.
