WOW where is the parallax scrolling there! I mean put some cloud cover in there or slow down the furthest back ground a little. The climb animation are easy to fix. Really easy for 2d and 3d games now.

Looking good though... but you know what contra 5 with different types of stages would be great. This is a good fit for now and demon blade are both welcome additions.

What is funny is Donkey Kong's 2d game was way better and no one played it... maybe because it was attached to donkey kong? Adults view things differently than teens or kids.

Good show though. We need more 2d developers that care.

On another note wouldn't it be sweet to see earth worm jim come back? What about out of this world? Maybe even MDK(murder death kill)?
Seriously these games stand on the shoulders of the artist and designers that create them not how many polygons it pushes.

MDK would be awesome with wii controls. I remember the first which i owned with my imac..........although they butchered the ps1 port.

Give me Contra 5 with some co-op and dont make it 3d, keep the 2d which in turn will keep the challenge. Or remake Contra 4 on Wiiware for cheap

Looks awesome. Original is one of my all-time favorites. The fact that you don't have to memorize what each jelly-bean does anymore (because there's now a wheel that you select your bean from that shows you what its function is) will make this more accessible to more people; only good can come from this!

I was 8 or maybe even nine when this game came out for nintendo. I like all the different jelly bean flavors it made it fun to feed to the blob. I really didn't get far in the game, so I wouldn't mind playing it now, just to see how far I could get. They need to make a new Maniac Mansion
