CCP developer Caedmon has confirmed that EVE Online has taken one more step towards global domination; the Russian and Japanese localisations of the game are now available for players to test.
Caedmon talked about some of the difficulties the development team faced when translating the game into Russian from English, when the original game was made with just English in mind.
The Japanese version appears to need a lot more work, as there are still many areas of the game yet to be translated.
CCP Games has unveiled an ambitious roadmap for their sci-fi MMO EVE Online in 2024, headlined by the massive Equinox expansion set to launch on June 11th.

In all seriousness though, if they can break those markets, then who knows what will be next for EVE. We know that the Asian and Russian markets are large, so let's hope this will capture their imagination.
