"When you think of the Wii, you don't normally conjure up images of poles being jammed down people's throats or chainsaws ripping through torsos. Enter MadWorld, the first game to be released by Platinum Games, which is a studio made up of former Devil May Cry, Okami and Viewtiful Joe developers. MadWorld brings a bit of the old ultra-violence to Nintendo's kid-friendly console, and hardcore gamers who have been waiting for the next big adult title since No More Heroes need to look no further."

Beneath all the Smash and shovelware, the Wii really did have quite a few gems.
Not a bad list.. I would add Excitebots, Kororinpa 1 & 2, Bit.Trip series, Geometry Wars: galaxies
Keanu Reeves appearing in the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 is far from the strangest celebrity video game appearance. Game Luster's Kate Mitchell highlights gaming's most unexpected voice acting moments.
Jerry from BagoGames says, "With Astral Chain coming out right around the corner for the Nintendo Switch, I couldn’t help but think about all the amazing games PlatinumGames has pumped out over the years. Some revered greatly, others panned by critics, but to me insane infatuation. These are my five favorite games from my favorite developer"
Honestly? I think this game will probably disappoint most. Once they finally play it, most people will be brought back down to earth finding out that it's still just a beatemup brawler no matter how bloody its aesthetics are.
Sega has quite a line-up this quarter. Can't wait for this one. Nothing wrong with a solid beat-em-up.
I think it has the potential to be something special, but they really have to pump it full of variety to keep it interesting, ala No More Heroes
I referenced a lancer from Gears of War in something I wrote a couple weeks ago, 'cause I was talking about a chainsaw, and a friend of mine told me the reference was outdated now that Mad World was coming.
He was wrong, but Mad World still looks cool.
Game looks pretty sweet.
