Fantastic art, its sad this game don´t will sell very good.

Mandaspt5556d ago

I have to agree with you, the game has a fantastic art but don´t have the mega marketing campaign of other big titles.

ChickeyCantor5556d ago

Yeah cause iz all about the 3ddzzzzzzzz...

I do think in Japan it will sell great though.

the only two games i want for the wii...although both would benefit a lot more visually in high definition. especially muramasa

unfortunately, these days the only games that sell well are shooters and GTA. When people see something original like Muramasa or Bayonetta, they simply shun it.

Of course there are people who love original and stylish games, and those are the ones who wil buy Muramasa. I am proudly one of these people.

I think you should look into more of the Wii library sales and you'll see that is not true. You have to combine GTA4 sales just to touch MKwii, SSBB, or SMG. Anyway who says games like this need millions to make money. Didnt we have an article here just the other day saying Killzone was already a success with 300k sold? If a game like that only needs 300k to be a success than I dont see how this one could fail.

I WAS excited for this game until I saw some videos of it on Youtube. It seems, you go through one screen, kill 6 ninjas and then go to the next screen where you kill a few more ninjas, and so on and so on. There weren't any levels, from what I saw. This really bothers me because I was looking forward to this game.

I will have to see more to make this a must buy. Beautiful art, but if this game has no levels, then count me out.

In addition to, of course, unforgettable titles like the wonderful 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim published by Atlus a few months ago."

I enjoy when games are treated as art.

annoyedgamer1134d ago

Hitman should go in there. That Japanese level is something to behold.

The village in Monster Hunter Rise has wonderful art direction.

Japanese games can help bring myths to life

How do you introduce people to folklore and fairy tales? Introducing people to mythology can be easy when they are young or in school, as such stories can sometimes be used to teach morals, introduce concepts that might be difficult for people to otherwise understand, act as warnings and get imaginations working. Once folks get older, it can be more difficult to get them engaged and interested in legends. Fortunately, some Japanese video games can step in to bridge the gap.
