New ExciteBots: Trick Racing details, Wi-Fi included

The first details on ExciteBots: Trick Racing have emerged since its announcement last week. From the newly released box art and small retail description we can tell that it'll take the Excite Truck game throw in some robots and fill your races with some crazy stunts and minigames. According to Nintendo "You won't believe your eyes when you find yourself shooting goals, throwing pies and even playing poker in the middle of racing robotic animals and insects around off-road tracks".

Sounds like a typical Nintendo racer to me. They could use a similar method to describe MKWii as you race around the track throwing bananas at other drivers.

IN fact this sounds a lot like what Diddy Kong racing on the GC should have been.

I thought who I was speaking to was obvious. Are you going around calling Wii owners unborn children? Nope. But notice how his hate post is still here hours later. How come if I said that about a PS3 game my post would be deleted but he can insult Wii owners no problem?? I

Holy crap man, are you serious? Talk about over-reacting. And I lose a bubble over it too? I didn't call Wii gamers unborn children, it's called hyperbole and it was used to describe the demographic these kinds of games are aimed at (note: they're not all Wii gamers). I think it was easy to see what I was alluding to, and more importantly, you need to lighten up. I attacked no particular people in that post, I merely surmised my own opinion on this news in my colourful manner. If you don't dig my attempts at humour that's fine, but there was no personal attack in that post. Lighten up, buddy. Furthermore:

If I'm not allowed to discuss my opinions about games before they're released then what's the bloody point of the comments section. We'd all be saying "Yep, looks like that game's being made. Yep." And I don't see ChaoticStupid leaping to the defence of the mentally challenged the world over, nor do I see him frantically clicking the report button for what is much closer to a REAL personal insult/attack (even though any reasonable human being knows that it's not that big of a deal).

Not sure about this one. Its excite Truck with bugs for cars... Maybe its really for Japan and we are just getting it for the hell of it. It is just so odd... One of the vehicles looked like a Turtle carrying a Tambourine....It's like mixing MKwii with Excite Truck and then threw in 10lbs of LSD and Crack rock just for giggles. I wanna see more about the game but I wont be buying it.

looks kinda cool. I hope you can build your own car/bot endless customisation could really make this a cool racing title. If it's even half as good as excite truck then i'm picking this title up. If it's twice as good then it's a must buy. wii is really getting a good lineup as of late... ABOUT TIME!
