Easy Golf on Xbox Live Community Games has had a major update and to celebrate, Barkers Crest have announced a competition to accompany the release.
Developers working on Xbox Indie Games have seen mixed sales results following changes to the service, as Digital Spy can reveal.
The ratings system, which has allowed users to grade titles between one and five stars, has had the most impact on sales.
Barker's Crest told DS that Easy Golf has had a sales and trial download increase of 400% after the latest dashboard update, while Mommy's Best Games said that Weapon Of Choice sales rose three-fold.
However Clover developer Binary Tweed, who had previously been "disappointed" by sales on the platform, said that it had seen a "modest improvement from our side of things" but praised other new features such as avatars.
Although Mommy's Best Games branded the changes "very helpful", it said that the lower price structure, which has allowed games to be priced from 80 Microsoft Points (68p) to 400 Microsoft Points (£3.40), may have impacted sales of higher priced games.
"While this is pure speculation, it's possible with more lower-priced games on the service the change might have negatively effected our sales by causing customers to spend extra points on the very cheap games," it said.
The rebranding of the service from Community to Indie Games, which also added automatic updates and availability to more European countries, came into effect last July.
