IGN: F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin (PC) Review

With F.E.A.R. 2, Monolith has crafted a solid follow-up to F.E.A.R. It's a good shooter, bordering on great at times, but it's not as groundbreaking as its predecessor. Still, it's definitely faithful to the idea of F.E.A.R., which is mainly trying to get under your skin using a combination of tried-and-true horror elements, not the least of which is a creepy little girl.

I played the demo of this game today and had a blast. No very scary but it had some moments that jumped out at you and that was pretty cool.

Edge gave it a 8 out of 10. And gave Killzone2 a 7 ..

Does that mean Edge is full of it? zomg Who should we believe !!?

/sarcasm

On Subject i played the pc demo and i was impress definitely a nice looking game with very good control. I will pick it up in the bargain bin. ( worth my time )

Yeah, memots you're right...Edge screwed up, everyone knows it, end of story.

F.E.A.R 2 demo was interesting...towards the end i got a little bored...shortly after the huge bus falls down and narrowly misses crushing you. Shortly after that the demo isnt so interesting anymore.

I would definitely rent the game or something though.

Spongebob for kids? NEVAR!

I've ordered FEAR 2 for the 360 and well... downloaded it for the PC until I get my 360 copy ;<
I might even end up buying it on the PC for the multiplayer if my PC can handle it well enough.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin Review

Following on the coattails of the highly successful First Encounter Assault Recon, or F.E.A.R., Monolith Soft and publisher Warner Brothers released the highly anticipated F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.

Set immediately prior to the finale of Point Man’s adventure in F.E.A.R., Project Origin tasks the player, one Sergeant Becket, and his squad with the retrieval and protection of Armacham’s Genevieve Aristide. Shortly after you battle your way through her apartment complex, a mushroom cloud explosion blasts through the city, successfully incapacitating Becket. While passing in and out of consciousness, Becket sees his journey from Aristide’s apartment to a hospital bed where he hallucinates being torn asunder by demons. Upon awakening, Becket finds himself pitted against a team of special ops soldiers cleaning up Armacham’s involvement from the original F.E.A.R.
