Unlike chemical addictions like alcohol, cigarettes and other substances, the addiction to a MMO is not physical. However, it is both emotional and psychological, and can even be more detrimental than the aforementioned substances. Quitting is a difficult task that takes strong will power and mental toughness, but can be done.
